I have been admitted. What are the next steps?

Congratulations! You've received your offer of admission. Be sure to follow your next steps for UBC's Vancouver campus or UBC's Okanagan campus.

You will receive your admission letter and Registration and Orientation Guide a day or so after you are admitted. It may take 2 weeks to receive your package.

What undergraduate studies programs (bachelor degrees) does UBC offer?

UBC offers hundreds of undergraduate programs in arts, science, business and engineering.

How do I apply?

UBC's application for the 2014 Summer and 2014-2015 Winter Sessions will be available online in late August. For more information, visit our website. You'll need to meet general and program-specific admission requirements. These requirements are different for each program and vary according to where you attended or are attending high school or university:

Canadian high school students
International curricula students
Post-secondary students
Canadian Aboriginal students
Mature students
Visiting, Unclassified, and Access Studies students

What are UBC's English language admission requirements?

English is the primary language of instruction at UBC. All prospective students are required to demonstrate a minimum level of English before they're admitted. Applicants must demonstrate competence in the English language before their application can be evaluated.

There are a number of ways to meet the English Language Admission Standard (ELAS) requirement for UBC's Vancouver and Okanagan campuses.

 

I forgot my UBC Campus Wide Login (CWL). How can I retrieve my login information?

If you know that you have an account, but can't remember your username and password, you can search for your login information with your email address.

 

How much does it cost to study at UBC?

You can calculate costs specific to your program of choice by using the online cost calculator.

Add up the total for tuition, books, and living costs, or review tuition by program.

 

Does UBC offer scholarships?

UBC is strongly committed to recognizing students for academic excellence and leadership. Scholarships are provided for Canadian and international undergraduate students.

 

What about student loans?

We recognize that even though you have the motivation and potential to be a UBC student, scholarships and family contributions may not be enough to cover the cost of your degree. Find out details about student loans on our website.

 

I would like to visit UBC! How do I register for a campus tour?

Tours are offered year-round at both UBC's Vancouver campus and UBC's Okanagan campus. Registration is available online.
